A Company Rises
In 2015, I launched my IT company Spine Software Systems Pvt Ltd. I called it Spine, since I envisioned it to become the backbone of a business, just as Spine is the backbone of our body. The bold blue and red colors in the logo represent the transition from disconnected (blue) to connected (red). And, the Wi-Fi symbol represents online connectivity, which is the basis of our cloud-based products.
Starting Spine has given me the opportunity of putting my design skills to practice. My passion for design led me to create logos, letterheads, business cards, ID cards, nameplates and other branding materials such as banners, posters, and brochures.
Look is Everything
Visitors should be greeted with professionalism. I designed this poster to be put outside our office building, such that our visitors can associate Spine Software with its products – SpineBMS and PharmaTrader. The bold red and blue colors of the banner are in sync with our company’s vision of showing connectivity.
It’s Related
Through our marketing efforts, we had found that employee satisfaction was critical to the successful implementation of software in a company. So, I used a cheerful business image for SpineBMS to depict that our software ensures employee comfort. This made our offering more relatable for SpineBMS.
A trader values the feature to manage his company on the go. I used an image with tablet designs to portray mobility across multiple devices, in our trader specific software, PharmaTrader.
I designed this banner to be put outside our office building so that every person who passes by our building gets to know about our products.
The Color Of Choice
Inspired by the Twitter website, I wanted my company website to have a colorful design. I designed espine.in such that the home page of our website presents a list of our company products and each section on the site is the product that we offer. Every section has its unique color.
My purpose behind this design was to simplify the navigational experience for our clients, who use the website as a centralized login portal for our software.

Corporate Puzzle
An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software is an extensive application which focuses on automating and streamlining all the processes of a business. Mostly, companies have a lot of necessities, and all of them are met by an ERP.
This roll-up standee matches the problems faced by companies, to the solutions provided by our ERP software, SpineBMS. I had designed it for our first marketing activity of SpineBMS in CPhI Mumbai in November 2015.
Just Systems
Through SpineBMS, we target large-scale pharmaceutical companies. The companies have a lot of departments, and each department expects individual attention. I designed this multi-page brochure to showcase the extensive list of features in every module of our software. Every page of the brochure has a feature list specific to one department. Its professional look represents the meticulous nature of SpineBMS.
Connected Over Cloud
PharmaTrader is our software for the traders in the pharmaceutical domain. The USP of PharmaTrader is that it runs on cloud technology, and it interconnects a trade business.
The front page of this brochure design shows PharmaTrader on top of a hand with clouds, which represents "handing over a cloud-based software." And the inner pages of the brochure have a design of multiple interconnected dots, which displays connectivity and linking.
Turn ‘n’ Learn
We found that traders do not spend much time going through software features. So, the theme behind this design was speed. We wanted our clients to view our software as quick to implement. So, the pages show the steps of getting started with the software, and the back side of the leaflet shows the software features.
One Size Fits All
The last week of June 2017 was exciting. All the taxpayers in India were preparing themselves for the new tax system, GST (Goods & Services Tax), and we were organizing conferences to educate the taxpayers about the software compliance under GST. During that week, we launched our GST compliant software for all industries and traders – SpineTrader.
I designed this pamphlet for SpineTrader. This one-pager is short and crisp in its communication. Its front briefly describes the features, and the back describes the process of getting started with the software.
