An Evening Light
One day I was on my way back from work when I saw my car, shining radiantly in the intense flavor of sunset. The scene was spellbinding. I captured and edited it to highlight what I felt when I saw the view. The shine of metal on the surface of Mercedes is incredible to look at!
Masterpiece
I am the collector of pictures in our family. To create a memory of my collection, I designed this mosaic of my parents, as a gift for their 25th Wedding Anniversary. It is a majestic mesh of 4700 images with each image capturing a particular event of our lives. Whenever we look at it, it serves as a recollection of the memorable time my brother and I have had with my parents.
Merry-Go-Round
The April of 2017 was filled with merriment, as our family and friends celebrated my parent’s Silver Jubilee. This picture is of the Ballroom performance we gave that day. The perfect combination of red and black adds an English touch to the picture. I edited it to highlight the synchronization among the couples of our family, with me in the center of the circle.
Come On Partner
This picture displays the connection between my dance partner and me. We have danced with each other for over 10 years and still complement each other in any dance style. Inspired by the Platon style of photography, the highlight of this picture is the look on my partner’s face, as she performs Ballroom with me during my parent’s Silver Jubilee Celebration in April 2017.
Festive Sawdust
Diwali at my home involves making Rangoli - an illustration created using colored sawdust. In the fall of 2015, I had just returned home after my graduation and was celebrating Diwali with my family after 4 years. On that occasion, Mom and I ended up spending the entire morning on Diwali creating this 3D Rangoli design.
7 Hours Later
A thing about using sawdust colors in painting – it takes patience and time to create. Diwali in 2016 also followed our family tradition. Starting at 5 am, Mom and I completed this Rangoli in 7 hours. I added a pinch of orange sawdust inside the yellow to give the effect of the flames of a burning sun.
My Ethnic Room
Every morning, I wake up to the sight of Dubai, the city from where I did my graduation.
I have decorated my room's wall by painting it with the skyline of Dubai.
Until Next Time
College was one of the best times of my life. After graduating from BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus, I made a short movie gathering memories from the four years I spent in Dubai with my friends. Emotions roll down at every captured moment.
